Used Tesla — the pre-purchase guide
Tesla is the most liquid used-EV brand in Thailand thanks to the Supercharger network and continuous software updates. Used supply of Model 3 and Model Y is deep. Pricing tracks model year and battery pack far more than options, and should always be benchmarked against the repeatedly reduced new-car price.
Warranty and service network
Tesla’s warranty is 4 years/80,000 km on the vehicle and 8 years on the battery and drive unit by variant, with a 70% minimum capacity guarantee, following the car and transferring via the Tesla account. Arrange the account transfer and review service history in the app before paying.
Used Tesla inspection checklist
- Review service history and account status in the Tesla app before agreeing on price.
- Prefer cars with complete Tesla Thailand history; beware grey imports with incomplete papers.
- Request a battery degradation reading relative to the car’s age.
- Complete the Tesla account transfer and phone-key removal only on handover day.
- Test basic Autopilot, cameras and sensors on a safe road.
