MG MAXUS 7 Gets EV 3.5 Price Cut, Free Home Charger in Thailand

By Paul

MG Thailand has announced a promotional price for the MAXUS 7 electric MPV under the government's EV 3.5 measures. The starting price is 1,299,000 baht, down from the regular 1,399,000 baht for the X trim. A two-tone exterior option is available at 1,319,000 baht, reduced from 1,419,000 baht.

What's included

The promotion bundles several items at no extra cost. You get first-class insurance with compulsory coverage for one year, valued at 25,900 baht. MG also includes a home charger unit worth 25,000 baht and covers installation costs up to 13,500 baht. A V2L (vehicle-to-load) cable, valued at 10,000 baht, and a set of floor mats are part of the package.

The vehicle warranty extends to five years or 160,000 kilometers, whichever comes first. The high-voltage battery, drive motor, and motor controller are covered for the life of the vehicle, with no mileage limit. However, this lifetime coverage excludes vehicles registered as commercial or corporate use.

Eligibility and terms

The free insurance applies only to individual buyers and non-commercial corporate registrations. The promotional price is valid for bookings and deliveries from August 1 to August 31, 2026, at authorized MG dealers nationwide. Terms are subject to change without notice, and the offer cannot be exchanged for cash. Interest rates are reference rates from participating banks only.
