Deepal and Aion are Chinese electric vehicle brands selling in Thailand, with models priced from about 500,000 to 1,000,000 baht. This article compares the main models from both brands using the RODFAIFA catalogue, last price-verified in July 2026. Deepal S05
The S05 is a small to mid-size SUV priced between 799,000 and 999,000 baht, offered in two trims. The Lite uses a 56 kWh battery with 470 km of range; the Max Long Range extends this to 560 km with 272 hp. Its strength is acceleration for the price. Service centre coverage and warranty terms should be confirmed with Changan Thailand on a case-by-case basis.
Aion Y Plus and V
Aion sells several SUV and hatchback levels. The Y Plus starts at 749,000 baht with 490 km of range; the 2026 V starts at 799,900 baht with 500 km, and the V 602 Luxury at 899,900 baht with 602 km. The UT hatchback covers the entry level from 519,900 baht. Aion's strength is range per baht. Battery warranty terms and after-sales service should be requested in writing from GAC Aion Thailand.
Note on earlier data
A previous version of this comparison on this site cited a 480 kW charging figure, a 200 km in 5 minutes claim, and the "Deepblue" name. No verifiable source was found for these, so they have been removed. Launch prices and trims for both brands changed several times since the original article ran in April 2025. Figures here follow the catalogue last verified in July 2026. Warranty periods and charger counts are not stated in the catalogue and must be confirmed with each brand.
Recommendation
Choose by use case first: vehicle size, range per charge, and home or workplace charging access. Then obtain written battery warranty and service network terms from both brands before reserving.
