EVAT Joins 2nd Smart Grid Workshop for Thailand

On March 4, 2026, Mr. Asdayut Rutirako, Vice President of Infrastructure Development at the Electric Vehicle Association of Thailand (EVAT), attended the 2nd workshop on Knowledge Sharing and Consultation on Draft Conceptual Recommendation for Smart Grid Development in Thailand.

The workshop was organized by the Department of Alternative Energy Development and Efficiency (DEDE) under the Ministry of Energy, in collaboration with the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP).

Participants included government agencies and state enterprises such as EPPO, ERC, EGAT, MEA, and PEA, as well as industry associations, NGOs, and other stakeholders.

Experts from China and local specialists presented real-world experiences in Smart Grid development. The goal was to draft recommendations for Smart Grid development tailored to Thailand.

The event took place at the Courtyard by Marriott Bangkok.
