EVAT Joins Policy Discussion to Drive Thailand's Automotive Industry

On March 4, 2026, the Electric Vehicle Association of Thailand (EVAT) participated in a policy discussion hosted by the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI). EVAT President Suroj Sangsnit and Vice President for Industrial Policy and Investment Support Siamnat Panussorn attended the meeting.

The BOI Secretary-General chaired the session. The meeting aimed to gather opinions, suggestions, and perspectives from industry stakeholders to guide the development and direction of Thailand's automotive industry promotion.

Participants included the BOI, EVAT, the Thai Automotive Industry Association (TAIA), the Thai Auto-Parts Manufacturers Association (TAPMA), and the Automotive Industry Club of the Federation of Thai Industries (AIC-FTI).

During the meeting, the government and industry exchanged views on investment promotion and automotive industry development. They discussed supporting the transition to modern automotive and electric vehicle industries.
