EVAT Joins Working Group on On-Site EVSE Verification and Calibration

On April 1, 2026, the Electric Vehicle Association of Thailand (EVAT) participated in the first meeting of a working group tasked with developing guidelines for on-site verification and calibration of electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE).

Mr. Asdayut Rutiragoh, EVAT Vice President for Infrastructure Development, represented the association at the invitation of the National Institute of Metrology (Thailand). The meeting brought together government and private sector agencies, including the Central Bureau of Weights and Measures, the Energy Policy and Planning Office (EPPO), the Thai Industrial Standards Institute (TISI), the Electrical and Electronics Institute, the Electrical and Electronic Products Testing Center (PTEC) of NSTDA, the Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA), the Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA), the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT), the Technology Promotion Association (Thailand-Japan), EVAT, and private companies such as PTTOR, DELTA, EA, and CTMS.

This session was the final meeting to finalize the guidelines for on-site verification and calibration of EVSE. The completed document will be submitted to the relevant authorities for implementation.
