MG IM5 Exclusive Edition Sells Out in Thailand

MG Thailand has closed reservations for the MG IM5 Exclusive Edition after receiving 50 bookings. The company announced the fully reserved status on September 15, 2569 (2026).
The Exclusive Edition stands out with a special Morandi Purple paint. This shade adds a subtle, classy look that appeals to sporty women, according to MG. The standard IM5 had mostly attracted male buyers who enjoy driving. The new color helped the model reach female customers and broke the idea that purple is only for a niche group.
Buyers who missed the Exclusive Edition can still choose the MG IM5 Premium Long Range. This variant offers up to 860 km of range on the NEDC standard. It produces 407 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. DC fast charging from 10% to 80% takes 18 minutes at maximum power.
The car comes with the One Touch iAD intelligent vehicle control system. MG provides a lifetime warranty on the high-voltage battery, drive motor, and motor control unit for the first owner, with no mileage limit.
