MG Launches NEW MG URBAN EV Hatchback with Auto Parking, Starting at 529,900 Baht

MG Thailand has officially launched the NEW MG URBAN, an all-electric hatchback, at a starting price of 529,900 baht. The vehicle is the first in its segment to feature Smart Auto Parking technology, including Remote Auto Parking via smartphone.

Four Pillars of 'LIFE EASY'

The NEW MG URBAN is built around the concept 'LIFE EASY', focusing on four key areas:

• PARK EASY: Smart Parking Assist and Remote Auto Parking via smartphone, plus a 3D surround-view camera with multi-lane view.
• DRIVE EASY: A tight turning radius of 5.2 meters and L2 ADAS with Auto Lane Change. The car is equipped with 12 sensors, 3 radars, and 6 cameras. It has achieved 5-star safety ratings from Euro NCAP and ANCAP.
• LIVE EASY: A spacious cabin with a 15.6-inch infotainment screen powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip, i-SMART PRO, and AI Voice Command.
• GO FAR EASY: A 53.9 kWh battery provides a range of 530 km (NEDC). V2L function supplies up to 3.3 kW to external devices. The EV LIFETIME WARRANTY covers the high-voltage battery, drive motor, and motor controller for life, with no mileage or ownership limits.

The NEW MG URBAN is a global model produced in Thailand (CKD) under the 'Made in Thailand, For the World' philosophy. Mr. Ta Shenzhen, Managing Director of SAIC Motor-CP, stated: 'The launch of the NEW MG URBAN proves that advanced technology doesn't have to be expensive. We have brought premium features like L2 ADAS and Smart Auto Parking into an accessible vehicle.'

The car is available for delivery now, with test drives at MG dealers nationwide. MG will also hold roadshows across provinces.
