MG Thailand Hosts URBAN EV Workshop for Owners

MG Thailand organized the "MG URBAN UP SKILL & WORKSHOP" on September 8, 2569, at the Gabriel Mary Building, Assumption University Suvarnabhumi Campus. The event welcomed 60 MG URBAN owners.
The workshop aimed to deepen owners' understanding of their electric vehicles, covering technology, functions, maintenance, and proper usage to maximize performance and boost confidence for fun, safe, and easy driving.
Technical Talk and Expert Insights
MG experts led a technical talk on EV technology and smart features of the MG URBAN. They explained battery system care, safe charging practices, and after-sales services and warranties.
EV reviewers Golf‒CG GO and Off‒Tsuit Review shared real-world driving experiences and tips. Topics included long-distance EV driving, uphill and downhill driving, safe use of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), and techniques for economical driving.
Chatwitai Tantraporn, Deputy Managing Director of MG Sales (Thailand) Co., Ltd., said, "Today's EVs come with new technologies, so correct knowledge and understanding of the product is crucial. MG not only offers cars that meet lifestyles and needs but also wants to share knowledge that helps users understand EVs comprehensively, from using technology and maintenance to handling various situations, enabling confident and safe driving for drivers, passengers, and other road users. This workshop is another space for us to share practical knowledge, aligning with MG's concept of making every journey and life easy."
Hands-On Workshops
After the theory session, participants rotated through four practical workshops, each lasting 40 minutes:
Emergency function usage
Emergency equipment usage
i-SMART system operation
High-voltage (HV) system and charging knowledge
These sessions allowed owners to learn through real scenarios and ask questions directly to experts, simplifying complex technical topics for everyday use.
The event reinforced MG's commitment to valuable after-sales experiences by equipping customers with knowledge, skills, and new experiences. When EV technology is used correctly, convenience, confidence, and safety come together on every trip, making the transition to electric mobility more accessible.
